As you can tell by the fact that we’re all carefully posing for a photo and doing standard amateur radio things, like staring intently at a screwdriver or wielding a folded tape measure yagi indoors, it’s time once again for the ARRL School Roundup!

K2MFF members got some extra time in the shack this week as we made contacts and got new members on the air.
Christian KE2HJU made his first HF contact with a special event station in Slovenia!
DX on 15 meters from K2MFF is quite the score.
We also had contacts with W9YB, Purdue’s amateur radio club, and a scheduled contact between members which was just barely clear enough to succeed.

As you can see above the club’s recently donated IC-7300 has been put through its paces.
I have to admit, having a touchscreen is really nice.
Members used the IC-7300 and the roof-mounted EFHW for most, if not all, contacts.

Until next time, see you on the air!
